SPORTS DAY
(2006-2007)
AT
NATIONAL STADIUM
The Sports day was our main task & the target of the year 2006 & we achieve our target by making the Sports Day a great Success. We have started our Sports Day with various following activities:
v SCHOOL BAND :
The school band in the beginning standing at the main entrance to welcome the Chief Guest i.e. Hon’ble Minister Sh.Ajay Makan.After the welcome there is a very excellent display by the School Band with various instruments i.e. Flute, Base Drum, Tennar Drum, Biggules, Side Drum, Cymbol & Triangle. In the Band display the Students have done the various formations beautifully & then at the last of Band display students of Band done the Beating Retreat by the “Drums Only” that was really appreciated by the audience & the chief guest. The School Band is consisted of Total 70 Students.
v HOUSE MARCHING :
The Marching done very nice by all the Houses & our four Houses done a great job in Marching that all hands & legs of all Students are moving together & they give the Salute to the Chief Guest near the stage.
v TAEKWON-DO DRILL :
It is a very good drill done by the students of class IV, VIII & IX. They all together done different actions of Taekwon-do in that drill & also done various threatening actions with the Ring of Fire, Summersault, Cartwheel, etc by which the audience gets Excited.
v JAVELIN DRILL :
The Javelin Drill is one of the best appreciated drill in our Sports Day. The student of Classes VI to VIII done very well & the music on that drill is also very nice. The students done the Javelin Drill with great interest.
v ATHLETICS EVENTS :
The Athletics is a very great action for the students & we conducted various events i.e. 100 mts,200 mts, 400 mts & 4 X 100 mts Relay for the students , Recreational Races like 3 Leg Race, Back Race for Teachers & Parents & Race for fourth class employees.
v GRAND FINALE :
At last we form the Word KRM in the Stadium by the Students with lights in there hands, which is looking very nice. In the end of Sports Day the crackers are burnt & there are lights everywhere.
OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS IN SPORTS
(2006-2007)
v Sports camp organized in summer vacations & sports are : Cricket, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Taekwon-do, Skating, Chess & Lawn Tennis.
Total Students Participated 80 Students
v Swimming Camp Organized in summer vacations at Aqua Point, Janakpuri
Total Students participated 45 Students
v Sub Junior Boys, Junior boys & senior boys team participated in Zonal Table Tennis Championship at APS, Vikaspuri.
v *Secured First Position in Junior Boys Group in Zonal Table Tennis Championship at APS, Vikaspuri.
v Participated sub junior boys, junior boys’ team in zonal cricket tournament & junior team reach the semifinals at K.R.Mangalam, Vikaspuri & Sarvodya Co Ed Sr.Sec school, Pussangipur.
v *K.R.Mangalam get the golden chance to host the “Zonal” sub junior boys cricket matches in the school premises & total 18 schools has participated in the tournament & it is a good success.
v *K.R.Mangalam gets the golden chance to host the “Zonal” Chess Tournament of all groups i.e. Sub Jr, Junior & Senior Boys & Girls in the School Premises & Total 22 School had participated in tournament.
v Sub Junior Girls & Boys, Junior Girls& Boys team participated in Zonal Badminton Championship at G.B.S.S.S.Janakpuri.
v Sub Junior Boys, junior boys & senior boys team participated in Zonal Football Championship at St.Francis School, Janakpuri.
v School Taekwon-do team participated in Delhi State Taekwon-do Championship at Talkatora Stadium & team secures 5 Gold Medal, 12 Silver, & 20 Bronze Medal.
v School Yoga Team Participated in Zonal Yoga Competition at G.G.S.S.S.Janakpuri.
v *Shreya Bhanot of Class VII A Participated in Inter Zonal Skating Championship at Remal Public School, Rohini & Secure 1 Gold Medal in 1000 mts Race, Gold Medal in Road Race& 1 Silver Medal in Time Trials.
v *School feels Proud for Shreya Bhanot of Class VII A Participated in National Inline Skating Championship at Ahmdabad & Secure IIIrd Position in all over India.
v School Taekwon-do team participated in Inter School Taekwon-do Championship at K.R.Mangalam World School, Greater Kailash & team secure 8 Gold Medal,15 Silver Medal & 18 Bronze Medal.
v School Feel Proud for Pallavi Chugh of Class V for participating in 21st National Taekwon-do Championship at Goa & Secure 1 Gold Medal in her group in all over India.
